Report: Michael B Jordan & Lori Harvey Split Due To Lori Wanting To Remain Free In Her 20’s

by | Celebrity LOVE

One of the internet’s most favorite couples has broken up.

“They had great times together and brought out the best in each other,” according to a source close to the former couple.

Actor Michael B. Jordan and model Lori Harvey have parted ways after dating for about a year and a half.

A close associate of the former celebrity couple told PEOPLE that Jordan, 35, and Harvey, 25, still have love for each other, and that the relationship helped Jordan reveal more of his emotional side.

“Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken,” the unnamed source told the outlet. “They still love each other.”

News of Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan’s breakup broke over the weekend, with a source telling People that the couple of a year and a half split despite still being in love with each other. Now, sources have spoken to People and Entertainment Tonight about why Harvey and Jordan decided their relationship couldn’t work.

Blame it in part on the 10-year age gap. Jordan, 35, was reportedly ready to settle down, and Harvey, 25, wasn’t quite there yet. A source close to Jordan told People, “[She] wasn’t ready to commit. She is very focused on her career. [She] realized that they weren’t on the same page [while they] were making plans for their future.”

“She still wants to have fun and be free,” the source added. “Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn’t work out, but she is moving on.”

These days high value women can KEEP a man if they want to. It’s all about finding a man you actually WANT to keep.

Speculation about a break-up began circulating recently after Harvey went to the Cannes Film Festival in France alone in May, per the report.

A separate source echoed a similar sentiment to Entertainment Tonight. “Lori and Michael broke up recently. They were at different stages in their lives,” that source said. “The two of them are trying to move on, but they’re both heartbroken and upset.”

A source close to both Harvey and Jordan told People yesterday that being with Harvey changed Jordan. “Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term,” the source said. “He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”

Neither Jordan nor Harvey have commented on the split on social media.  But Steve Harvey commented on the breakup.

The Family Feud host addressed Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan’s breakup on the June 6th episode of The Steve Harvey Morning Show, at first giving a serious take on this romantic journey coming to an end, and then cracking jokes about it. With regard to the former, Steve Harvey said the following:

I’m Team Lori 1,000%. She’s my daughter. I love her, I support her… Things happen. It’s hard to be young and in the limelight and have a successful relationship. Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends… I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.

Which means something is amiss. What are your thoughts?

What this shows is compatibility problems.  Once you have money and fame, love comes down to what truly makes your soul happy. Just because a person is NICE to you and buys you gifts, doesn’t mean you’ll be compatible in the long-term.

It’s important to explore the chemistry you have with a like-minded person, have gratitude, and PLAN to grow with them, vs looking for something perfect that doesn’t exist….

Are men going to assume that Lori Harvey can’t keep a man or are they going to be aware that the divine feminine woman CHOOSES her man, and that finding a man she actually WANTS to keep is the challenge on this earth realm?

This journey is about  finding SOULMATE LOVE.
