Nick Cannon still hasn’t healed from his relationship with Mariah Carey. It appears the singer is running from himself while believing to have found himself.
The superstar recently appeared on the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” podcast, and he revealed how his failed marriage with Mariah Carey makes him feel like he’s not built for marriage.
He referred his failed marriage to Mariah Carey when the topic about potentially marrying one of his 5 baby mamas’ came up.
“That to me was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and for that to have come to an end, as well, is like why would I go back if I couldn’t make THAT work out right?…
I think once I gave my all to a scenario… going forward I’d have to be presented with something that I’ve never seen before or never experienced.
In order for me to be willing to go back to do something like that because, it’s almost like, yo, I did my best in this space.
And now I feel like there is a new journey in my life which is different experiences that I have to see.
But I’m not going to backtrack and put myself in that position again because it doesn’t get any better than that.
Marriage and all that goes into that is so… It’s a lot, I mean everybody who is married knows what that is.
You’re literally entering a partnership that says where two becomes one.
And I know I’m not built for that.”
After calling Carey one of his “best friends,” for whom he has “so much respect,” Cannon admitted he’s “probably still going through it” and hasn’t fully healed from their divorce.
“Divorce is a sense of, ‘You failed,’ and when you have that level of failure with everyone seeing it, it was a lot on me for a long time,” he said. “I didn’t really know how to process it. I had to go find myself. I had to go within.”
From there, Cannon reiterated, “The traditional sense of monogamy, I don’t subscribe to.”
“I let [the women I have children with] know from the gate [about my views towards marriage]. It’s not out of disrespect, it’s more respect,” he explained. “It’s, ‘I’m going to come to you as honest as I possibly can. This is who I am, this is what I struggle with, this is where I feel like I excel. If we can coexist, you’re responsible for your happiness. If I can add to it, I’m here. If I don’t add to it, I shouldn’t be here.”
Last week Antonio Brown completely embarrassed Keyshia Cole by publicly dumping her shortly after she had his initials tatted on her back.
In response, Keyisha Cole tried to explain how ‘disrespected’ she felt from Antonio Brown’s dumb comment.

We love to blame everything on men. But women must take some accountability for the choices they make in men. Women disrespect themselves by dating such a man as Antonio with a history of being disrespectful to women. People Reports: The fiancée of late rapper DMX is still grappling with his loss nearly a year after his tragic death.
Desiree Lindstrom, who shared 5-year-old son Exodus with the musician, opened up about her grief during a recent podcast appearance, 11 months after DMX died on April 9 following a heart attack.
“I haven’t moved on. It’s hard, you know?” Lindstrom said through tears on the It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast. “It’s really hard. I just take it minute by minute. Some people say you could take it day by day, but it’s second by second. My life changed so fast [in] the blink of an eye.”
Lindstrom said that since losing the “Party Up (Up in Here)” rapper (real name Earl Simmons), she’s been focused on herself and her son, and is currently in school to be an esthetician.
“I just want to build myself to be a great mother to Exodus,” she said. “I want him to see that he has a strong mother that can stand up on her own, and I’m just trusting in God through the process. I go up and down with emotions. I have to really force myself to keep it moving, keep going.”
Still, some moments are harder than others for her, especially holidays, which she said get “lonely,” as the rapper “was my family.”
Lindstrom noted that she often leans on her son — who is “stable” as he continues to battle stage-three kidney disease — and finds comfort in his positivity outlook and strength.
“Sometimes it’s hard, just looking at him. He has so many different qualities of his father,” she explained. “So when I do shed a tear, he’ll be like, ‘Mommy, are you okay? And I’ll say, ‘You just did something that was like your father.’ And he’s like, ‘Mommy, it’s okay, Daddy’s with God, he’s watching over us. He’s our angel.’ I just thank God that he gave me a son that is like that. He’s just like his dad.”
According to host Harper, Lindstrom and DMX were together for 10 years — and despite the fact that they never had the chance to actually tie the knot, lived as if they were married.
“One thing that Earl taught me was, who gives a f— what people got to say about you? I knew that he loved me, he knew that I loved him,” said Lindstrom, who said she was still “not even thinking” about dating again. “I feel like we [were] married. A piece of paper ain’t s—. Our love was real. He was there for me, I was there for him, and people know what the f— it was, period.”
Shortly after DMX’s death, Lindstrom got a tattoo in his memory reading “Dog Love,” as well as an “X” in the same font that the rapper used to stylize his name.
She also paid tribute to her late love on Valentine’s Day, writing on Instagram: “I know you earned your wings baby. I pray that you are at peace. Missing you too much this Valentine’s Day.”
This is what any woman gets who allows a man to convince her that a piece of paper doesn’t mean anything. Now she’s about to go to college and work hard, just to date another man who won’t marry her, and chances are won’t provide for her either. But at least she got to experience real love, without the death benefits.

A new court order shows that Kenya Moore is still married to her estranged ex,Marc Daly and the couple has reached a confidentiality agreement and they’re finally working towards a settlement in divorce court.
Radar reports that Marc claimed Kenya was dragging her feet on providing him with information on her finances and took months to turn over “basic documents.” She also allegedly failed to submit a proposed child support worksheet for their daughter, Brooklyn Daly.
Now a new court order reveals that the parties appeared for a hearing and Kenya admitted to not turning over all the documents citing “privacy concerns.” Now she’s agreed to produce the documents because a confidentiality agreement is in place. The development means the two can start having real negotiation talks and try to wrap things up, reports Radar.
Marc Daly Still Allegedly After Legal Fees, Moore Manor
The latest filing still makes mention of Daly’s demands for Kenya to pay his legal fees and to give him a stake in her home, Moore Manor.
Despite Kenya buying Moore Manor in 2015 before they wed in 2017, Marc’s attorney claims thatMarc “invested money” into the 7,200 square-foot home during the marriage.
“Husband seeks an equitable division of the parties’ marital residence,” wrote the restaurateur’s lawyer.
Kenya’s team countered by saying,
“Respondent is well aware that Petitioner owned and operated the property in question long before the marriage.”
Kenya Filed For Divorce After Marc Announced Their Separation
As previously reported Kenya officially filed for divorce from Marc Daly in May of 2021 after years of alleged reconciliations, rumors, and counseling. In the official divorce docs, Kenya called their marriage “irretrievably broken” with no hopes of reconciliation.”
Her filing came after Marc told MadameNoire, in January 2021, the week of Kenya’s 50th birthday, that he was the one who was ready to move forward with divorce. MN exclusively reported a statement from Marc announcing the decision to end his marriage with Kenya officially.
