Ariana Grande is the latest boss chick to take a hit in her divorce. Just six months after splitting Grande’s and her now ex-husband Dalton Gomez have settled their divorce and Ariana has to PAY UP.

The singer and real estate broker settled their divorce on Oct. 6, according to multiple outlets. TMZ, citing the settlement, reports that Dalton will receive a one-time tax-free payment of $1,250,000 and half the net proceeds of their L.A. home sale, but will collect no spousal support.
Although the couple filed for divorce just three weeks ago, they actually broke up six months back, with their legal papers listing their date of separation as Feb. 20, 2023.
“They were taking their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately before filing,” a source told E! News in September. “They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process. It’s been a very kind and patient uncoupling process.”
Their breakup was kept under wraps for months. In fact, Ariana and Dalton celebrated their second wedding anniversary in May, when the two-time Grammy winner marked the occasion with a sweet tribute on Instagram.
The 30-year-old continued filming the Wicked movie in England up until the SAG-AFTRA strike began July 14.
After production went on hiatus, the “Thank U, Next” artist raised eyebrows when she was spotted attending the 2023 Wimbledon finals in London without her wedding ring. E! News then confirmed on July 17 that Ariana and Dalton were separating and heading towards divorce.
Just days later, a source close to the situation told E! News Ariana had begun dating Wickedcostar Ethan Slater after her marriage unraveled. (At the end of July, Ethan filed for divorce from wife Lilly Jay).
She first sparked romance rumors with Dalton in March 2020. However, it wouldn’t be until two months later that the pair confirmed their relationship in her “Stuck With U” music video, with them then going Instagram official that June.
The agent ultimately proposed to the musician with a diamond and pearl engagement ring, with her announcing the news by writing on Instagram, “forever n then some.”
Five months later, in May 2021, Ariana and Dalton tied the knot in a private ceremony at her home in Montecito, Calif.
The pair were last seen publicly in January 2023, strolling through the streets of London hand in hand.
If you are a wealthy woman, you can always marry a regular guy and give him money when you get divorced. That’s much easier than healing your femininity and marrying a man who provides.
It’s so much easier to just be the boss chick, make more money than your man, call all the shots, and pay the cost to be the boss during the relationship and after….

Singer Teyana Taylor and former NBA star Iman Shumpert have called it quits on their marriage of 7-years.
Taylor wed Shumpert in 2015 and share two children, Rue Rose, 3, and Junie, 6.
Teyana Taylor took to Instagram to announce the couple’s separation.
“In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while,” Taylor, 32, shared in a written post on Instagram, Sunday. “To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children.”
She continued, “Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married, we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.”
The reason Teyana chose to clear up the rumors, is because many assumed the separation was because of Iman cheating.
In her post, Taylor added that she and Shumpert, 33, kept their separation private at first, which was why “we’ve been able to successfully & peacefully separate without all of the outside noise.”
“The only reason I’m even sharing THIS part of the chat is because the narratives are getting a little out of hand & it’s unfair to all parties involved,” she continued. “I hope this provided some clarity for y’all. Okay AunTey taking y’all back out the chat bye! 😘❤️🌹.”
Shumpert did not share a statement on his own Instagram, nor did he comment on Taylor’s.
Prior to announcing their separation, Taylor’s last post featuring her husband was on his birthday in June. She called him a “king” in the lengthy caption as she described him as “one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.”
“Your birthday will always be one of my favorite days…Because on this day 33 years ago a super dope human being was born. My best friend, my husband, my children’s dad, my other half,” she continued. “Crazy how ya bday feels like my day cause you a gift.”
As for Shumpert, his last post about his wife came on Mother’s Day in May. He celebrated the mother of his two children, writing, “Your strength, persistence and patience has never ceased to amaze me.”
He continued in the caption, “As we continue to celebrate you year in and year out for being all you can be I love that we take time every year for this holiday. Your lil head fits all of the hats no matter the size…but there’s something so beautiful about that mommy hat, so pure and so forever! Keep on pushing the love and creating the memories that remind us what this life is about. We love you.”
Though Taylor and Shumpert are no longer romantically involved, the singer made it clear in her statement that their priority remains their two daughters.
In April, she told PEOPLE that her “babies are good” and remarked at how quickly they’re “getting big” — Rue Rose, especially.
“My youngest is talking too much,” Taylor joked. “I can’t believe she’s a talking two. She is a talking two, for sure!”
It’s very unfortunate to hear of the break-up. After his cheating scandal hit the net waves a few years ago, the couple seemed to heal, increase their bond, double their income with a reality show and become a favorite couple.
Has anyone else noticed that anytime a woman starts saying that a her man is a GIFT to her, the relationship seems to end?
Also Shumpert has been in the NBA in a few years. Who knows what athletes go through during an early retirement, having to find themselves and their identity all over again. If cheating wasn’t the cause of the break-up, his personal development journey definitely played a part.

R.I.P. to rapper Young Jeezy’s marriage.
The rap sensation has filed for divorce from wife of two years Jeannie Mai Jenkins, according to People.
The publication stated that the 45-year-old rapper, filed in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday.
The filing states that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and there is “no hope for reconciliation”.
The couple share an 18-month-old daughter named Monaco, who was born in January 2022.
Jeezy is reportedly seeking joint custody of the little girl — the couple’s only child.
Jay Wayne Jenkins, and Jeannie Mai were married on March 27, 2021, but are currently separated.
Jeannie, 44, and Jeezy have a prenuptial agreement and neither has yet spoken publicly about the alleged split.
Upon hearing the news, fans flocked to Jeannie’s most recent Instagram post to leave concerned comments.
One follower simply wrote, ‘I hope what I read is a lie,’ while someone else added, ‘I really don’t believe the divorce rumours.’
Another person added, ‘Listen, say it ain’t so. I don’t get in celebrity business but I’m hurt about this.’
Others begged the television personality to, ‘Please tell me the divorce rumors are false.’
Just last month Jeannie attended a concert at Atlanta’s Tabernacle venue to support her husband as he performed at Amazon’s hip-hop tribute City Sessions: 50 & Forever Featuring Jeezy & Special Guests.
And weeks ago she gave her husband a shoutout on social media for becoming a New York Times bestseller.
‘Today I celebrate a remarkable milestone achieved by my husband, @jeezy, whose memoir Adversity For Sale has soared to the New York Times bestsellers list,’ she captioned to her three million followers.
‘I’m endlessly grateful for your voice in this world. Honored to walk beside you my love,’ she added in the September 6 Instagram post.
The rap sensation replied in the comments, leaving two red heart emoji.
Mai has not been mentioned on Jeezy’s Instagram page since he wished her a Happy Mother’s Day in May.
He was, however, active on the site on the same day as his divorce filing, writing a cryptic caption to his 5.4 followers.
Posing in front of a Maybach car, he wrote, ‘Too focused on who I’m becoming to focus on who’s not coming with me.’
As far as fans and followers, everyone is shocked over this news.
In my opinion, black men carry a lot of trauma from childhood into adulthood and it shows up in their relationships. Many can not seem to carry on a healthy relationship. I know saying so will offend many people, but it’s simply the truth that needs to be addressed.

Jennifer Williams is my original favorite boss chick. I’ve always loved her class and also her business acumen. However when it comes to men, she hasn’t always chosen the best ones.
From her ex husband, retired NBA star Eric Williams who famously threw a drink in her face, while featured on Basketball Wives, to Sweetie Pie’s star Tim Norton, with the thick hips, who is now serving life in prison for murdering his nephew, to a few scammers that Williams dated, her love was looking bleak.
Now all of that has changed, Williams, 48 has found someone her soul vibrates with.
Basketball Wives’ Jennifer Williams, is set to walk down the aisle and become Mrs. again. The reality TV star recently said “yes” to her investor bae Christian Gold’s proposal.
“Future Mrs… 💎❤️,” she wrote in an Instagram caption under a picture showing off a huge, high clarity diamond ring. She also posted a meme with the words, “Don’t be shocked when life starts to get good” alongside the photo.
Their first encounter occurred on a Friday in December when Williams was spending time on the rooftop with a friend at his new apartment building That friend Armani, introduced Jennifer to Armani..
“I wasn’t even in the market looking for a relationship because I just felt like it wasn’t time yet,” Gold said on their YouTube channel. “I was in a place of healing. I’m still in a place of healing. I saw her sitting there and I was just like, ‘aw man be good.’”

The couple have shared their love publicly over the past few month through pictures, including snippets of their baecations, and also via birthday wishes. In June, Williams wished her soon-to-be-husband a happy birthday as he turned 30.

They also started a YouTube channel together called “Life With Jennifer & CG,” on YouTube in June. Summer Walker referenced Jayda Cheaves while alluding that her relationship with actor Lil Meech has ended.
On Monday, Walker decided to share a relationship update with her fans on her Instagram Story. In the statement In her brief statement, Walker mentioned Jayda Cheaves while alluding that she wishes Lil Meech “the best.”
“Tried my best to be jayda wayda but I couldn’t. It was cute though, I wish him the best…”
Afterward, the singer then shared a few more words.
“Can’t do that cheatin stuff”
Additionally, Walker shared a brief clip of her previous interview on ‘Caresha Please.’ In the clip, Walker shared her thoughts on romantic partners being dishonest.
“You know, once you just figure out like, ‘Oh, you just gone keep lying?’ Like you ever had a situation with somebody and be like, ‘Okay baby’ — because that’s me. In the clip, Walker explained that in her experience, rather than begin being honest, her partners usually decide to continue lying as more of their secrets become revealed over time.
While stating that big Meech had cheated on her is no surprise considering HER BRAIN, and his age along with his newfound celebrity, what threw fans off is Walker’s mention of Jayda Cheaves.

In a recent interview on the podcast “Club Shay Shay,” Dwyane Wade addressed the misconceptions surrounding his wife Gabrielle Union‘s comments about how they divide their household expenses as a married couple. Wade shed light on the true meaning behind their “50/50” arrangement and shared a heartfelt story that emphasized their partnership.
During the conversation with host Shannon Sharpe, Wade clarified the misunderstanding, emphasizing that people had misinterpreted Union’s statement about splitting “everything 50/50.”
“Everybody thinks 50/50, they think, ‘Hey, if he’s getting a sandwich, you gotta put 50% on that,’” Wade said before saying, “That’s not how it works.”
He explained that both he and Union separately provide financial help to their own family members but that when it comes to their household expenses, they both contribute equally.
The retired NBA star then described a tense exchange he once had with Union several years ago when they lived in Miami, in which he referenced their home at the time as “my house that I paid for.”
“My wife looked at me, she was like, ‘You will never say that to me again when it’s something that we share,’” he recalled. “My wife is like, ‘When we move to LA, I got half on it.’ You will never say, ‘my house’ again.’”
Wade who he refers to his actress wife, Gabrielle Union as a “boss and independent woman, said that he purchased their current home with Union. He explained that while he could financially provide for their family with just his financial contributions, Union is often eager to contribute to any big purchases or vacations to enhance what they have.
“We decided that certain pieces of our life, we would share in it,” he said.
Union sparked some debates on social media about couples and how they split bills when she discussed her family’s financial arrangement in a Bloomberg interview on May 8.
“It’s weird to say I’m head of household because, in this household, we split everything 50/50,” she said before, noting that she and Wade each financially support their family members.
Interesting.
Some women may prioritize their independence and autonomy, valuing the ability to contribute equally to the relationship’s financial aspects. They may derive a sense of fulfillment and empowerment from having their own financial stability and actively participating in the financial responsibilities of the partnership.
That’s perfectly fine. However to be a feminine woman is about learning TRUST. Although it can be difficult for many women to trust that a man has her covered, a feminine woman learns to do so, even if she works and makes her own money.
It’s all about feeling worthy despite your finances. Something most black women have a very difficult time doing. Therefore going 50/50 allows them to feel some sense of CONTROL.
My only opinion is that being a rich woman, married to a wealthy man is the prefect opportunity to heal your femininity. As no matter what that man chooses to do, you still have millions of dollars in the bank that allow you to back yourself.
Not to mention if he cheats, chances are he’s not making the sidechick go half.
It’s funny that sidechicks feel worthy of being provided for, but most main chicks don’t…
One thing about Gabrille & Wade’s relationship is they actually don’t make people jealous. People don’t desire to have a relationship like theirs, the way Russell Simmons and Ciara inspire nearly all of their followers to want a beautiful relationship.

Diddy and City Girls‘ Yung Miami attended the 2023 Met Gala together Monday night (May 1), but once they arrived at the top of the famed stairs, host La La Anthony asked the “million-dollar question:” “Do y’all officially go together real bad?”
Diddy dodged the question by attempting to deflect to Yung Miami, whom he called by her first name Caresha. But once La La applied pressure, he finally responded. “We definitely go together real bad!” he said before clarifying, “She’s my date for the night. … We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles. This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”
Caresha chimed in by agreeing, “Yeah, it’s just a good date night.”
