Actress and director Gabourey Sidibe is glowing alongside fiancé Brandon Frankel featured in Brides magazine digital style issue. Their wedding is set for the year 2023.

The couple met on the dating app Raya and got engaged in October 2020.
Per Essence, the former Empire star did not initially want a big wedding. “The entire time we have been engaged, I’ve always been like, ‘No, we shouldn’t have a wedding,’” Sidibe said in the cover story. “Maybe we’ll throw a barbecue, get married in the bathroom, and then we’ll come out and tell everyone we’re married.”
She said she and Frankel have had a change of heart.
“It cannot be a traditional wedding. Really, it can’t be,” she said. “I don’t want anything done the ‘traditional’ way. Our relationship is very much on our terms and I want it to be fun, like a true party.”
The non-traditional flair that makes Sidibe a unique star is on full display in the photo spread which featured her styled in a colorful African print dress for the cover and other bright color looks for the rest of the shoot shared on Instagram. Sidibe called the shoot a “rehearsal” for their actual wedding.
From the story, Sidibe said, “To me, weddings are very different from marriage and partnership. I think I always, always wanted there to be a partner in my life, [but] I didn’t know what he was going to look like or what he was going to be like at all.”
Frankel is Jewish and Sidibe is of Senegalese descent. The former Empire star said that she wants their wedding and life to reflect their cultures. They intend to have a specially curated menu. “Including my culture [in the wedding] is important to me for sure. I’ve been feeding him some Senegalese food in the last few years—especially in the pandemic,” she said.
“It will be a nice mix of African and Jewish touches. I want his background to absolutely be there because this is a partnership.”

In July that same year, Frankel made things even more crystal-clear when he posted a picture of a beaming Sidibe alongside the words, “How can you not love this face? MY SUNSHINE gf.” The Precious actor, however, had chosen to keep schtum about her new relationship on social media until New Year’s Eve.
But it appears as though Sidibe’s resolution for 2020 was to be as gushing as possible about her new man. In the comments section of another Insta photo Frankel had uploaded of the pair on December 31, 2019, she responded, “You’re my favorite love song. You’re the cherry on top of this last decade and the foundation of the next. I’m excited for all the matching hoodies, Mickey/Minnie outfits to Disneyland, and your favorite shirts that somehow become MY favorite shirts. You make me happier than I’ve ever been. I’m so glad we found each other and I’m gonna point and yell “DOG!” for you, when I see one in public forever.”
Talk about a fairytale and believing in yourself. We’re so proud of Gabourey and her accomplishments. She is a light to many women like her.

Essentially Sports Reports; In the newest episode of ‘The Big Podcast with SHAQ’, Shaquille O’Neal, Nischelle, and Spice Adams discussed the NBA postseason, Shaq vs. Rudy, etc. They also discussed Tristan Thompson’s controversial relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
Former NFL player Spice brought up the story of Tristan sending flowers to Khloe’s mother, Kris Jenner for mother’s day. And Kris Jenner posted it on social media with the captions “Thank you” and “Love you”. Given Tristan’s relationship issues with Kris’ daughter Khloe, it shocked a lot of people.
So Adams wanted to know the opinion of Nischelle about Thompson’s gesture. He also said, “…I think that is a cool thing to do. You send that to your mother-in-law, I think that is a great thing to do.”
But Nischelle was heated, “If my fellow got another woman pregnant and dogged me out publicly the way he has dogged Khloe out, and then he turned around to try to send Jackie Turner(Nischelle’s mother) some flowers, mmmm, that won’t go well.”
But Spice Adams reminded her that Tristan has already apologized for his mistakes. And Nischelle was still adamant that a mother shouldn’t do that. But Shaq said, “Khloe let him back!”
Also, Spice brought it up that Kris said that she loves him in the social media post. And Shaq joked that Nischelle would have taken the flowers if it was for her. While Nischelle accepted that, she insisted she wouldn’t post it on social media. She feels Kris shouldn’t have at least posted it because he has humiliated her daughter way too much.
Then the Lakers legend said, “Has he dogged her daughter out though?” and Nischelle said yes. But when O’Neal asked whether she was sure about that, Nischelle admitted Khloe accepted him back so many times.
So Shaquille O’Neal said, “…We all know it’s been well documented but she keeps taking him back. So that means y’all mind your business…”.
O’Neal also said not to be mad at Tristan when Khloe was taking him back again and again.
Thompson and Maralee Nichols welcomed their child to the world just 5 months back. While Kris Jenner posted her mother-in-law gif,r Khloe didn’t post any mother’s day gifts from Tristian.
It’s really that simple. That’s how men view things. Women complicate things with emotions. Because a woman LOVES a man, she will take him back if he cheats. Then when he cheats again, everyone calls her st*pid. Rarely do they ever call the man that for messing up the relationship. Instead they view it as him having OPTIONS. This is because people recognize women lacking self-love and loving a man more than they love themselves.
It’s funny how men expect women to have self-love when rich women on tv with everything they want, lack it too.
Not to mention, the Kardashian’s don’t care about being embarrassed by men. They care more about popularity and keeping their name in the news. The only thing they’ve ever been embarrassed about is Bruce Jenner switching lanes and Blac Chyna acting a whole fool on tv and getting pregnant by their only son,

Where Things Stand Now With Khloe & Tristian

Shaquille O’Neals ex-wife, who is also the executive producer of and a star on VH1’s Basketball Wives, is engaged to fiancé Pastor Keion Henderson, who she’s set to marry later this year. Shaunie O’Neal recently sat down with The Shade Room to discuss what it’s like to be in love inside of a healthy relationship.
“Love feels easy,” the 47-year-old boss chick said. “I think that he makes it easy to love him, to love this relationship, and I think the older you get you just realize what’s important, you realize how to communicate with people, you realize how to overcome obstacles in relationships.”
O’Neal met her future husband through a mutual friend and they started dating two years ago back in 2020. O’Neal admitted in the interview that although maintaining a loving relationship does take work, it doesn’t have to be struggle love.
“It takes work, but it shouldn’t be hard work, you know what I mean? It can be tedious but it shouldn’t be so stressful or hard or consuming. And you know. work that I want to go to, work that I want to show up for,” she said. “Love feels peaceful and easy and so good, and it keeps a smile on my face and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
When she got engaged in 2020, She told People, “This love is FOREVER and I’m honored and overjoyed to do forever with him.”
Her former NBA star ex-husband Shaquille O’Neal has given the pair his blessings. Shaq said Shaunie was a good woman who did everything she was supposed to do.

Apparently August Alsina is the only entanglement that Jada had. According to Marca, an alleged affair between Jada and Chris could be the hidden reason why Will angrily slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.

One thing about successful, heart-centered women is they often short-cut themselves when it comes to doing the work to attract a high value provider man.
It’s much simpler to stick to the storyline of love, and love whatever man likes you, while often failing to realize he mostly likes your accolades and the amount of money you bring in, which means he will later grow to resent you when he realizes he CAN’T outdo you.
No only will he resent you, but he’ll cheat on you, and spend the money he saves from being with you on another woman who loves herself enough to only accept provider men.

Divorce papers reveal Minister Lysa TerKeurst’s husband spent over $100K on extramarital affair
A recent court filing has shed light on the divorce proceedings between Proverbs 31 Ministries founder Lysa TerKeurst and her husband, Art, including evidence the latter spent over $100,000 of the couple’s money on an “illicit sexual” extramarital affair with a woman he met online.
After 25-years of marriage, and 5 kids, Lysa TerKeurst filed for divorce in December 2021 and publicly announced her decision in January, revealing her husband had engaged in “chosen patterns of behavior that dishonor God and the biblical covenant of marriage.”
In 2017, TerKeurst revealed she would be pursuing a divorce from her husband due to his infidelity and struggles with addiction. At the time, she wrote he had “been repeatedly unfaithful to me with a woman he met online” and was abusing substances. However, the couple renewed their vows just over a year later after working to restore their marriage.
In her latest divorce announcement, TerKeurst said her husband had “broken” those renewed vows.
WHEN YOUR MAN WANTS ALIMONY
In February, Art TerKeurst filed a response to the divorce petition, requesting post-separation support, alimony, an equitable division of property, damages and the rescission of a post-nuptial agreement, Ministry Watch reported.
He claimed that he signed the post-nuptial agreement under duress, at a time when he was suicidal and preparing to enter a treatment facility for alcoholism. Art TerKeurst argued that after he finished treatment for his addictions and the couple renewed their vows, he believed the post-nuptial agreement was invalidated as part of their “fresh start.”
Though admitting he’d engaged in “illicit sexual behavior” prior to the post-nuptial agreement, he claimed to have been a “faithful and dutiful spouse” ever since. Seeking post-separation support, Terkeurst said he is “actually and substantially dependent upon [his] wife for his maintenance and support,” adding the does not possess the “financial ability or adequate resources” to meet his accustomed standard of living.
But in April, Lysa TerKeurst entered a motion to dismiss Art’s counterclaims, a request to compel arbitration and a reply to his allegations, according to Ministry Watch.
In her filing, the ministry leader said her husband freely agreed to the post nuptial agreement and voluntarily withdrew from the alcohol treatment program without completing it. She claimed his allegations of being suicidal were false, and that Art TerKeurst had exhibited “narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies” over the years.
The Forgiving What You Can’t Forget author claimed that the couple “maintained completely separate financial accounts pursuant to the post-nuptial agreement” even after reconciling, and said that post-separation support and alimony ought to be denied due to her husband’s infidelity.

The filing also includes text messages between Art TerKeurst and “Mistress X.” He allegedly met the woman on the website SugarDaddy.com and spent at least $118,000 of the TerKeursts’ money on the relationship. Expenses included paying for the mistress to move from Atlanta to Charlotte, North Carolina, and buying her a “pre-engagement left hand ring.”
In her January divorce announcement, the 52-year-old said she’d fought “really hard to not just save my marriage but to survive the devastation of what consistent deception of one spouse does to the other.”
“It’s brutal and heart crushing to constantly fear the hurtful choices of someone you love. I’ve had to learn the hard way there’s a big difference between mistakes (which we all make) and chosen patterns of behavior that dishonor God and the biblical covenant of marriage.”

In an April Instagram post, the ministry leader shared an update with her followers, reflecting on the moment she said, “No more. No more devastation. No more betrayal. No more being lied to. No more.”
“Sometimes ‘no more’ means implementing good boundaries that will help hold each person accountable to healthier relational patterns,” she wrote.
Many women do have a feminine energy man who is okay with her working hard and being the bread-winner. However, most masculine energy men want to be the financial lead in the relationship.
As to this marriage, and ALL of their finances being separate, it’s quite possible that she did not make him feel included in the success.

Recently he sat down with Vlad TV and reacted to Kim’s statement about being high on ecstasy during their Las Vegas nuptials. In a new interview with Vlad TV, the music producer talks about the claim the beauty mogul made during a 2018 episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians,’ where she recalled their elopement in 2000.

During a 2018 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the Skims founder, 41, claimed, “I got married on ecstasy. … The first time.” She later added: “I did ecstasy once and I got married. I did it again, I made a sex tape. Like, everything bad would happen [when I was on drugs].”
In his interview, Thomas explained that he was upset that Kardashian wanted to blame their 3 year marriage on her alleged intoxication and impaired judgement. “Because it happened in the past, you can try to sweep it under the rug, but you don’t stay married to somebody or be with somebody for four to five years and it’s just based off you getting high off of ecstasy, you know what I mean?” he said. “That doesn’t make any sense at all.”
Thomas added: “I’ve been very responsible in not talking about what that marriage was or what it meant to me.”
Two years after meeting in 1998, Thomas and Kardashian tied the knot in Las Vegas. At the time, she was 19 years old. “I used to be so dependent on the guys I was in a relationship with,” the KKW Beauty founder told Harper’s Bazaar of her first wedding in February 2011. “I don’t know why, because I wasn’t raised that way. If I looked at myself at 19, I would shake myself and be like, ‘Wake up; you are way too smart for this.’”
She continued: “We went to Vegas, he said, ‘Let’s get married!’ and I said, ‘OK.’”
While Kardashian doesn’t appear to have the fondest memories of her marriage to Thomas, she does credit it with helping her learn what she wants from a relationship. “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned so much from relationships. My tolerance level is so different,” the Selfish author explained. “So after years of being in not the best relationships, you grow up.”

Ne-Yo’s marriage to Crystal Smith might have been a wrap if it weren’t for the pandemic.
In February 2020, the “Let Me Love You” singer filed for divorce from the former reality TV star after four years of marriage, and welcoming two children — sons Shaffer and Roman.
“We were talking full-on divorce,” explained Neyo during an Oct. 28 appearance on “Good Morning Britain.” “It forced us to sit down and talk about our problems and re-connect with our kids,” he added.
Having become accustomed to being on the road and catching flights for performances, Ne-Yo welcomed embraces to the change in pace, as well as the opportunity to strengthen his bond with Smith. “The pandemic saved my marriage,” he said. “There’s only so much FaceTime you can do. In the pandemic, we lost a lot of people, but in my case it helped a lot of instances in my life. We had brutally honest conversations.”
With their romance rekindled, the couple surprised fans by calling off their divorce, which was then followed with the announcement they were expecting their third child, a daughter, Isabella, who was born in June 2021.
Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Renay are giving their marriage another go. TMZ reports the couple just walked down the aisle in an extravagant wedding in Las Vegas. The wedding took place on Sunday night (April 24) on a rooftop at Resorts World in Vegas. The room was reportedly filled with over 10,000 roses and TMZ was told it took three days to set up the beautiful reception. The cake was about 8 feet tall and had four different flavors.
The guest list included the couple’s close family as well as the Real House Wives Of Atlanta’s Nene Leakes, Tammy Rivera from Love & Hip Hop, and Melody Holt from Love & Marriage: Huntsville. According to TMZ, Ne-Yo also sang some of his hits for the guests and danced along with his bride.
The couple first said “I do” back in January 2016 and the singer filed for divorce in February 2020 before quickly withdrawing it. Since then, the couple has been working things out and it’s clearly going well! Ne-Yo popped the question for the second time on New Year’s Eve 2020. He’s also credited the pandemic for saving their marriage.
